I can also provide web hosting space if you want a website (it's the server hosting http://www.exaile.org). I'd be willing to write a up a simple website, though I'm no designer so it probably wouldn't look that great.

Yeah, no go. Disabled pulse and used dmix, locked up pretty quick.

Well, update. I've tried just using plain OSS too. Yeah, I've used padsp. The only sound configuration that seems to work is no sound at all.

I'm a tard and forgot to leave a bunch of pertinent information: Ubuntu 8.10 32bit Wine 1.1.14, though this happened with 1.1.13 too Compiz disabled EVE Classic OR Premium, though it seems to happen more with premium

I've googled around and found that if Eve is freezing it's probably a sound issue. If I uncheck "Enable Sounds" in the audio settings tab, I can play as long as I want, no worries. If I don't, Eve will eventually freeze up. It seems pretty random,...
